Manchester The City of Football
Everybody knows that Manchester is well-known with its sport clubs include the Premier League football teams, Manchester City and Manchester United. If you heard this city perhaps you suddenly imagine about football.FYI,Manchester City's ground is the City of Manchester Stadium (near 48,000 capacity); its former ground, Maine Road was demolished. Manchester United's Old Trafford ground, the largest club football ground in the United Kingdom, with a capacity of 76,000, is in the borough of Trafford just outside the city. It is the only club football ground in England to have hosted the UEFA Champions League Final, in 2003. It is also the venue of the Super League Grand Final in rugby league.
Unfortunately, that popularity of Manchester was not my reason why I've spent my time almost two months in this city. It's just because I want to take internship program here! There are many choice of great internship places here. As I know from wikipedia.org as well the city is notable for its culture, music scene, scientific and engineering output, media links and sporting connections. In addition, Manchester is served by two universities, including the largest single-site university in the UK, and has one of the country's largest urban economies. Manchester is also the third-most visited city in the UK by foreign visitors, after London and Edinburgh, and the most visited in England outside London.
So, I'm not too excited about Manchester as the city of football but I can truly enjoy it for my new experience and knowledge in my free time of internship. Moreover, I've made my friends and all the fans of Man.Utd and Man.city envy!Hahahaa
